5 Tips On How To Change Your Thoughts

You must make a conscious decision that you are not going to entertain negative thoughts.  Here are a few tips for you:

  1. Be conscious of your thoughts – when you realize that you are dwelling on negative, toxic thoughts, make a purposeful decision to think a positive thought.  Think the opposite of what you were just thinking.
  2. Say affirmations – these are empowering, positive statements.  If you are depressed, say..I am filled with joy and peace at all times and my life has  purpose and meaning.  If you are having issues with money, say – I am being prospered in all areas of my life and my bank account is growing daily.
  3. Don’t voice your negative thougths.  Try at all times if you can to speak only positive, empowering words that will lift you and others up.
  4. Use visualization – this is very powerful since you will be actively focusing on positive, inspiring images in your mind of the kind of life and/or circumstances you would like to create.  They also help uplift negative emotions.
  5. Surround yourself with like minded people and read books that will empower you and give you hope.  Don’t fill your mind with foolishness.  Fill your mind with only things that will help you become a better person and help you reach your God given potential.

Remember…as long as we live in this world, negative things are bound to happen.  It’s how you handle them that counts.  Get up and don’t let them bully you.  A positive attitude will help you win every time and you’ll be happy along the way too.
